  • Multiple Provisioning Modes
    • DPM can provision modems, multimedia terminals, set-top boxes, internet access devices, FTTX ONT devices, and SIP devices such ATAs, MTAs, IP Phones, and more.

  • IPv4 and IPv6 address management
    • DPM supports geographical/network-topology requirements with carrier class DHCP IPv4 and IPv6 address management that includes the creation of IP address blocks, pools and scopes; option sets, and more based on different device types/vendors.  Our solution supports a number of IPv4 address conservation strategies such as dual stack-lite for simplified IPv4 encapsulated in an IPv6 packet transport and 6RD (Rapid Deployment) for the streamlined transfer of IPv6 packets over the IPv4 network. For IPv6 networks, DPM supports dual stack for concurrent IPv4 and IPv6 and 6PD (Prefix Delegation) to assign a network address prefix to a subscribers network/site.
  • Rapid template creation and service introduction
    • DPM enables service providers to quickly create new device configuration templates to support the quick introduction of service tiers, regional roll-outs, and short-term service trials.  Device templates are standards based (such as PacketCable and DOCSIS) and template properties can be automatically merged or inherited, simplifying template creation and modification processes and speeding the time to market for new services.

    • DPM includes a web-based CSR order entry console to support immediate service revenue generation or can be easily integrated with other order management systems via an XML API.  DPM includes integration with Sigma Systems’ award-winning Service Management Platform (SMP) for advanced order management and service fulfillment capabilities.
  • Service Assurance
    • DPM provides centralized service assurance monitoring of access devices to assist in the process of troubleshooting.  Additional capabilities include the ability to interrogate the device to determine the correct configuration, upgrade firmware and provide long-term detailed logs to assist with troubleshooting intermittent problems.
  • IP Lease Management
    • DPM provides a centralized view of the network service topology, services, subscriber information, and devices associated with the service, including MAC and IP Addresses.
  • Firmware upgrades
    • DPM enables on-demand firmware upgrades for individual subscriber devices to assist in troubleshooting, and the ability to conduct bulk upgrades for network-wide devices from specific vendors, supporting a specific service, a regional area, or other factors.
